Mike's Steakhouse, located in the heart of Houma, Louisiana aims to serve the finest and freshest steak and seafood around. Mike Duplantis, owner and operator, comes from a long line of restaranteers. His family helped pioneer the restaurant business in Houma. Family owned restaurants date back to the early 60s and include Yot's, Yot's II and Boogie's Beef and Reef. Staying true to his roots, Mike brings back some of his dad's original menu items including popular appetizers such as Chicken & Cheese and original favorites like Pecan Trout - a twist on the famous Trout Almondine.

His 150-seat restaurant boasts a comfortable non-smoking dining section with a private banquet room available for reunions, business lunches and the such. Newly added to the facility is the front Bistro Patio Section, where those who wish can enjoy their drinks or meal outside. For those picking up their meals in times of inclement weather, Mike takes his service one step further with covered parking near the front door.

The newly enclosed lounge hosts live music throughout the week and can also accommodate diners who wish to enjoy tobacco products. The renovated outside deck is perfect to gather with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.
